We currently have approximately 33 freeze bleeders running in various locations all over Cherokee Village. This is to help prevent lines from freezing. We have had many calls regarding the bleeder running on W. Lakeshore Drive (Hiawatha Park by the light pole). We also have cones placed by some of the freeze bleeders. If you see a leak and there is not a cone placed beside it, please call the office 870-257-3508. We monitor the telephones 24 hours a day, everyday. The crew and generators are prepared and ready if any emergencies occur.

With the extreme weather conditions expected to start late this evening, allow pipes to drip from faucets overnight, disconnect all outside hoses, make sure vents under your homes and crawl space doors are closed, and insulate pipes that are in drafty places or exposed to the cold. Everyone please be safe and be kind to all the utility crews out working in these hazardous conditions.
